It ’s not only the peter pallet . It ’s the entire exploiter interface , which has remain basically the same since the 90s , after its creation in 1988 . But then again , why bushel what is not kick downstairs ? possibly someone can come up with a better interface metaphor for manipulating prototype . Some people say that the Photoshop interface and workflow work because hoi polloi are used to it . mayhap they are right and someone take to let on the mold , but everyone who has try has fail miserably so far . And two decades is enough to come up with a worthy competitor - and please , do n’t even cite Gimp .
