Now Max is being chased across the desert by bad cat , who are shooting off smoke bombs . This is an example of how attractively colour is being used in this moving picture — the bleak landscape looks incredible and vibrant .
Oh rat — the bad bozo with their characteristic lance - top gondola have got Max . That ’s his motorcar flipping over .
Now it ’s time for the bad guys to degrade Max . They ’ll begin with the charge to the back trick .
Meanwhile , somewhere with risque visible radiation , Charlize Theron as Imperator Furiosa smell peril . She ’s sitting on top of her giant hand truck , known as the War Rig .
Back in “ let ’s demean Max ” world , the bad guys have some kind of creepy medical facility , scarcely glimpsed here , that seems to have at least one child in it .
In the same facility we just saw , they ’re tattoo Max . rent ’s get a closer look . Gross and creepy .
“ O - Negative Universal Donor ” ? We can also see “ just eyes , ” “ genitals entire , ” “ multiple scars , ” and “ heals tight . ” This is what made me reckon it was a aesculapian facility — it seems as if they ’re labeling him for electronic organ harvesting , or maybe thrall . They also list “ hi octane ” and “ road warrior , ” though , so they could be number his criminal offenses . Or it could just be crazypants freakout stuff . Hopefully we ’ll find out in the movie .
Max is passably upset about it .
See those tiny gondola racing into that haboob to end all haboobs ? Holy freaking crap . Seriously , that dust tempest expect amazing . You go , VFX team . Seriously .
Here come the bad guys , head into the storm .
Furiosa ’s artificial hand peek out of her window . She ’s getting ready to kvetch ass .
Further Max humiliation : Tom Hardy is forced to wear his Bane mask again . That ’s chief evil henchman Nux behind him , driving the car .
Back in the blue light billet , Furiosa is rescue a cleaning lady from something .
Here is a little subplot that really intrigues me . The bad guys have some form of industrial - Rudolf Christian Karl Diesel skull temple .
run across Immortan Joe , loss leader of the regretful guys , who tire out a skull masquerade . My guess is that his option of face gear is somehow related to the skull worshippers earlier .
In a battle between Nux ’s bozo and a car get over in spines , judge who won ? Well , commit that spiney car is exploding , I ’d say Nux ’s guys .
These are “ The Wives , ” refugee from Immortan Joe ’s gang . Their public figure are Toast , subject , Splendid , the Dag and Fragile . We can guess what Joe wants to do with them . Furiosa wants to rescue them and teach them to charge motorcycle out of midair .
Let ’s take a closer spirit at Furiosa ’s bitchen DiY diesel arm . I love that she ’s got a twist bond in there . Why not just change state your sleeve into a large - scale leatherman if you may ?
Another beautiful shot of Joe ’s cavalry , cannonball along and reckon like degenerate punks .

This is the showtime of a not bad succession , where we see how Joe ’s gang fights from their car , using those retentive rod to attack the War Rig .
And they manage to steal one of the Wives .
Furiosia is pissed .
Really pissed .

This guy wire . Not Joe , based on the lack of hair . Could it be bad guy Rictus Erectus ?
Did I mention all the motorcycle stunts in this movie ? There are a ton of them . Just do n’t stress to skip onto the War Rig .

Those are pieces of him , ground to a mush under the War Rig .
