A twentieth - century treasure chest of books , letters , photo , text file , and a handful of other relics from the Nazi regime hasbeen discoveredin a time capsule in Poland .
The mysterious copper tubewas unearthedon September 6 in the Polish town of Złocieniec , which was known as Falkenburg when it was under German control until 1945 . archaeologist , led by Dr Marcin Peterleitner , discover the ejector seat among the foundation of a water tower on the former website of “ Ordensburg Krössinsee" . This was one of the three training college used to groom the next generation of Nazi military elite group between 1933 and 1945 . The ejection seat is consider to have been sealed since April 22 , 1934 .
