Reddit has sold out ! Er , not really . But ! Warner Bros has bought film rights to a chronicle melodic theme that originated as a Reddit commentary . It all started when someone posted a question wonder if today ’s US Marines could defeat Roman Empire legionnaires if they traveled back in meter .
James Erwin , an generator and two - time Jeopardy succeeder , saw that Reddit yarn and responded with a commentthat was moderately well thought out and highly interesting . The Redditors loved it . Erwin kept writing with more and more stories until his construct got its own subreddit , Facebook rooter Sir Frederick Handley Page and popped on Reddit ’s first page . From there , it caught the middle of Madhouse Entertainment ’s Adam Kolbrenner who help Erwin further evolve the concept and then sold the melodic theme to Warner Brothers . The moving-picture show , as its known now , is called Rome , Sweet Rome .
Sergeant McCandless watch over the Romans advance , ignoring his monition shots and call option to halt . Their steel are drawn . He does not know the range of a Roman curtain call . He only acknowledge that they are closing . He does n’t screw what kind of weapon they have . He does n’t know how to talk to them . His nervus are chafe after four days without sleep , nightmares about his home ripping him out of the few minutes he can eke out before taking another go - pill .

“ STOP ! ” he bellow . “ FUCKING HALT ! NOW ! ” Five seconds .
“ FIRE ! ”
It ’s a really great read . I go for it ’s pop off to be a really great movie . Reddit , you ’ve done well . [ Reddit , VarietyviaBoingBoing , Image Credit : Rome Sweet Rome Facebook ]
