IGNreports that after 27 long time of air on PBS , Arthur ’s upcoming twenty-fifth time of year — premiering this fall — will be its last . In a statement provided to IGN , Greenwald explained that while new episodes of Arthur are no longer being produced , sometime episode will still be uncommitted . “ In the winter of 2022 , the twenty-fifth and last time of year of Arthur will debut . Arthur will stay on to be available on PBS KIDS for years to come , ” Greenwald articulate . “ Producer GBH and PBS KIDS are carry on to exercise together on extra Arthur message , share the lessons of Arthur and his admirer in new ways . ”

As much as Arthur ’s cancelation is likely to sadden some nostalgic viewers , television serial ( much like books ) have a habit of coming to an end finally .
