Ashley Tisdaledoesn’t mind being the wardrobe of your most basic fall plans, from apple picking to pumpkin spice lattes. In fact, she’s serving up a heavy dose of plaids and jackets for every autumn plan you’ve got in mind.
“I’m a huge fan of plaids,” Tisdale told PeopleStyle at theSignorelli for Ashley Tisdalefall launch. “It’s just so good. You can dress them up. You can dress them down … I’m really, really proud of those because we have so many different color patterns and the material is just so great.”
She’s also loving the collection’s outerwear. “I feel like I have an edgier style and so that was what inspired a lot of the jackets this season,” Tisdale said at the event, which took place at Bloomingdale’s Santa Monica.
The star, who says she’s “excited to take the line and do more with it than just t-shirts,” dishes that the collection is going to keep expanding — “We have so much coming out,” she shares.
However, the star admits that designing a collection does take “a lot of hard work.”
“It’s really fast,” says Tisdale. “You create so much and you design so much stuff and then a lot of stuff gets dropped.”
“You’re just like, ‘Whoa. Oh my God. That’s so crazy,'” shares Tisdale. “I had no idea. I thought these two jackets were going to for sure be something the companies would come in and buy.”

But one saying you won’t be seeing on a Signorelli tee anytime soon, “I think ‘Blondie,'” says Tisdale.
“There’s been a lot of ‘Blondie’ shirts. Like I’m so over the whole thing – it’s just like, ‘Blondie,'” she explains.
As for theHaute Mess founder’smust-have fall item? “A really awesome distressed denim jacket,” says Tisdale, who just got one from R13 and raves about Topshop’s pieces as well.
