Gotham ’s got a new sheriff , and she ’s not messing around . Batwomanhas bring out the first face at time of year two , which seesJavicia LesliereplacingRuby Roseas the Caped Crusader . But it looks like not everybody is quick for this new hero to wear the cowl .
The CW has partake in a new teaser for the first episode of Batwoman season two , which see Gotham in hullabaloo follow the disappearing of Kate Kane ( Rose ) . Not wanting the metropolis to end up in the hands of Alice ( Rachel Skarsten ) and her goons , Ryan Wilder ( Leslie ) vows to videotape up Kate ’s mantle and become the latest line of defense . However , as we see in the trailer , most of Kate ’s squad is n’t quick to welcome this new arriver .

Leslie connect the serial after Roseannounced her departurefrom Batwoman after one season . It was collide to see the lead actress of one of CW ’s newest superhero show ending her tenure so quickly , but Leslie has rise to the task and promise to make the role ( and show ) distinctly her own . Gotham might not be quick for Ryan , but Batwoman sure as shooting is .
The serial returns with time of year two on January 17 . Twinkle twinkle .
