Scientists believe they may have slip up upon a satellite that currently circle its sunlight at twice the distance Pluto ’s does ours . And should they be able to confirm that , yes , this is in fact a satellite we ’re dealing with , uranologist may have to redefine the entire way we think about planet formation .
In images fascinate by the Hubble telescope , scientist were able-bodied to clearly identify a gap in the removed asterisk ’s dust-covered shell of space debris — and commonly , this gap would be a telling preindication of a planet ’s orbital way of life .
