Though he was responsible for sendingthe 21 ladies vying for his hearthome, Gerry admitted the task never got easier throughout his run on the reality dating show.

“I absolutely would not consider myself qualified to teach a course on healthy breakups. Just because I did it 21 times does not make me an expert!” he joked in an interview withEntertainment Weekly. “It’s like I’m a novice 21 times.”

“Each one of those exit interviews felt different than others,” he said of the difficult breakups he had to initiate on his journey for love. “Because of the individual, I had a different reaction to it, but the fundamental agreement across the board was the sadness because they all had to leave.”

After visiting the hometowns ofFaith, Leslie and Theresa, Gerry broke down during the rose ceremony and told hostJesse Palmer, “I know what I want to do. I just don’t want to do it.”

Hometowns are on the horizon for the golden bachelor. With only three roses remaining, the final six women face the possibility that their fairy tale with Gerry Turner may not have a happy ending, and Gerry must make his toughest decisions yet.

He ultimately gave the rose to Theresa and sent Faith, who receivedthe First Impression Rose, home. Walking her out following her elimination, Faith cried and admitted that she felt “numb."

“It’s gonna be a while before I figure it out, if I ever figure it out," Faith said. “Maybe it was all just all in my own head. I really don’t know. I feel like we connected on a level where I was ready to marry the dude. I wanted so much more for me.”

In last week’sWomen Tell All episode, Faith and Gerry reunited for the first time since parting ways. Upon taking the stage, Faith dissolved into tears as she began to discuss her elimination.

She shared, “It’s gut-wrenching. It’s hard because for the past, I don’t know, 20 years I didn’t really open myself up for love so going into this, I really thought, ‘OK. If I feel anything at all, I’m going to go all in.’ And it shattered me.”

When Gerry joined her on stage, the pair shared an emotional embrace, crying as they held each other.

Faith finally addressed Gerry, saying, “I think the first thing I want to say is from day one what I had felt that we [had] that connection, that safe place. But when I looked up that day when you walked me out, it was like I was looking at a stranger. So I felt that complete disconnect. That was the most devastating thing to me.We went from hometowns— the way we left each other was so great — and then to just have it be nothing.”

“It was not nothing,” he responded. “Believe me, I have thought about that night and those moments where I had told you that I loved you and in those moments, I did. I genuinely loved you. I felt like I had built and created something along with you only to destroy it in a brief moment.”
