Anne Hathaway– who is mom to 2½-year-old sonJonathan Rosebankswith husband Adam Shulman – recently opened up toThe Sunday Timesabout raising her first child, revealing that she took a cue fromPrince WilliamandKate Middletonafter reading about their parenting style.
“They get down on the child’s level and speak to them eye to eye to make their child feel empowered,” the Oscar winner, 36, said. “I thought that was really cool. I started doing that with Jonathan.”

Hathaway recently made headlines after revealing that shegave up drinking completelyto focus on motherhood.

Hathaway admitted she doesn’t “totally love the way” she drinks, explaining that Jonathan is “getting to an age where he really does need me all the time, in the mornings.”
“I did one school run one day where I dropped him off at school — Iwasn’t driving, but I was hungover,” the Oscar winner recalled. “That was enough for me. I didn’t love that [experience].”
