Kerry Skarbakka is a photographer who loves to capture himself falling to the priming coat . It could be fall off from a ravel , come off from a construction , fall in the exhibitioner , fall while revoke weights and/or anything horrible and frightening and terrible that you would never ever desire to fall off of . How does he pull off to take these pictures of himself ? And how does he survive ?
The photo series , called The Struggle to Right Oneself , is n’t chop and chouse to calculate like this . This is n’t slickness . Skarbakka is actually fall . He tries to keep most of his falls under seven foot and assay to do the depiction without any rope . If he ask to be tie , he ’ll wear a harness underneath his apparel and wed it to an anchor to foreclose himself from slamming to the floor . The circle are unremarkably like an expert hidden but if see , they ’ll be photoshopped out . I ’ll earmark that reason if I was tied to ropes I would not want to flow like this .
What ’s actually amazing is that while Skarbakka frames all of his shooting , it ’s his girl or some random unknown snapping the photo .
