E3 ’s in the end over , and most people ( where the hell is Ashcraft ? ) made it back to their several homes safely . So what did we guess of the new , more subdued format ? Well , seeing as we got to see the former format a couple time — complete with booth babes , loud euphony , gigantic show floors and uncanny gadgets — we’re happy to say we wish the fresh E3 more . Even without the booth babes .
It ’s not that we did n’t like the old one in theory . It ’s great if you ’re an exhibitor or someone just going there to check out the game . But if you ’re going there to actually do reporting on stuff ? That was a nightmare . Pushing through decade of M of sweaty dweeb and wading through long - tush blood line just to see what you needed to see was not our idea of merriment . This unexampled E3 , with the small meetings and more one - on - one clock time with White House really allowed us to do better coverage .
What do you conceive ?
