For Kent, the IUI process is “very much having scientific sex. It’s the most wild thing in the world. When my doctor was explaining it to me, I was like, ‘Oh, this is just like I am in the bedroom with someone, but I don’t have to wait for the big O.’ It’s just one and done.”
“Like, let’s just get it done, get the most valuable thing that comes out of a man, which is his sperm, and I’ll be on my way,” she continues.
The reality star shares she decided to go with IUI because she wanted to take control of her situation.

“I will not gamble on me having my child,” she says. “And I just don’t think that finding a partner and falling in love with someone has anything to do with bringing a child into the world.”
Now, Kent’s biggest piece of advice for other women is to bet on themselves.
Earlier this month, Kent chatted with PEOPLE at the season 11 premiere ofVanderpump Rules, sharing her desire to give her daughter a sibling.
Asked where she was in her fertility journey, Kent teased, “We’re into the journey! We’re actually hauling ass full-steam ahead.”
